My finals aren't over just yet, but the bulk of the madness has passed for me, so I'm going to do my best to help you procrastinate by blogging more often this week-- maybe even a couple times a day! (I know how it is: around 2 am the night before your 10 page paper is due, you start refreshing your Google Reader every 20 minutes...) I will try to entertain you much this week, while I sulkily finish one Shakespeare play a day.






The best way to distract you, of course, is with food, so I'm going to introduce to you two of my absolutely favorite food blogs out there, chock full of gorgeous pictures that make my mouth water. The first blog is called Happy Lady Eats, which is run by the same blogger of Oh Joy! (one of my favorite design/lifestyle blogs also). She posts witty quotes about food along with great food shots, and occasionally drops recipes of her own here and there-- there's even a recipe for FROYO, topped with mochi and apricot fruit preserves! WANT want want want want want! Especially the macarons on top of the bunny vase-- what I would do for a bunny vase like that! (Note to self: make bunny vase next semester in ceramics class.)







The other food blog that I really like purely features pictures: EpiCute, another project by the people who did LolCats, finds photos from Flickr that are literally eye candy:









Now you know what I spend 90% of my time doing-- going through blogs like these, and pointing at every other pictures, saying, "...And I wanna make this, and this, and this one, and this, and eat this, and this, and have this, and..."
