In an effort to give you more amusement in a shorter, flash-mob-like format, I've decided to introduce to you a new tag, titled "Party Favours." We're going for the Wikipedia definition here:

"A party favour is a small gift given to the guests at a party as a gesture of thanks for their attendance, a memento of the occasion, or simply as an aid to frivolity."

So here we go, with lots of links to thank you for coming, to mark silly occasions, and most importantly, to aid any and all frivolity.

• Eggwatchers is an egg timer that entertains you-- just plug in the size/conditions/desired taste of your egg, and then boil it for the length of the Youtube video it shows you! I like my eggs squidgy, mm. (Added bonus: the eggs are mad cute!)
• When in dire need: press for NOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!
  


• Sushi petit fours? A "Hey Arnold" pancake? Ham, steak and t-bone plushies? Katamari bentos? Iphone sandwiches? I'm not too focused on food, am I.


• Top of the list of the useless and wonderful things that will be in my dream house: SPIRAL STAIRCASES. Here's a gorgeous pink one, and wait for it-- a SLIDE spiral staircase! Want!


• Another category of gorgeous and entirely frivolous things that I want often involve paper: like this slanted notebook, for example, which lets sideways-writing-people like me save space. Or how about the brilliantly designed book jacket covers that coordinate with bookmarks? Or best of all, the BookBook-- a leather cover for Macbooks that look like... actual books.

Ok, enough for now! But yes, future party favours will be entirely dependent on my mood, the apartment's supply of chocolate, and whatever I can glean from the interwebz. Enjoy, and if you have anything you find remotely interesting, throw it in my direction and it'll pop up here. Yep.
